About Me
I’m a jack-of-all-trades in the creative space, and currently, the director of marketing and communications at a nonprofit working to empower those with limited vision to live independent lives.
As a visually impaired designer, I strive to make the stories I tell relatable, and accessible, because I believe that everyone should be able to share their stories.
The stories I help create come through in various formats, inclduing print, photo, video, e-mail, social media, or a combination of everything. Design is an everchanging landscape, and I am always ready to learn, adapt, and incorporate new ideas and trends into these stories.

VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Director of Marketing and Communications

- Developed and executed successful marketing and communication strategies that resulted in increased brand recognition, stakeholder engagement, and revenue growth.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including development, programs, and executive leadership, to align marketing and communication efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
- Managed the agency’s social media messaging and communication strategies and oversaw the creation and distribution of content by the agency’s marketing and social media associate.
- Managed the design and production of collateral materials for 10 annual fundraising events, resulting in increased attendance, donor participation, and revenue generation.

- Designed all awareness and fundraising materials related to organization-wide programs and services.
- Edited and revised all print and digital marketing materials to ensure consistency with the agency’s overall design style and tone.

- Led a five person design team responsible for creating assets for the organization’s 2016 Marfan Awareness Month social media campaign.
- Developed and implemented a marketing strategy to ensure the team meets all deadlines and delivers the most relevant and accurate content.
- Conducted research and collaborated with the agency’s experts to ensure the accuracy of all copy.
