Custom MetroCards

Advertising Campaign
One of the largest transportation systems in the world, the New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is responsible for moving millions of people every day. The tool responsible for it all, the MetroCard! Normally a yellow rectangle, the MetroCard offers an underutilized canvas for advertisements, and one, which is guaranteed to reach people as they need one to move about the city. Below are a few examples of custom designed MetroCards designed to appeal to different audiences.

Breakdown

Each of the four custom MetroCards have different purposes. The first card is a standard tourist card, destined to be distributed at Metrocard vending machines at popular stations (Times Square). The second card is a fundraising card for nonprofits. In this case, it could be a nonprofit would be focused on helping people who are blind and visually impaired. The third card could be sold as a souvenir, in this case, for Goth House, an upcoming Times Square attraction, and fourth card could be sold at venues, in this case, a nightclub, as an alternative to driving.
