VISIONS is a New York City-based nonprofit organization, providing free vision rehabilitation for individuals and families living with blindness or visual impairments. The agency has always taken a safe approach in their design, often choosing functionality over form. Over the last few years, the agency’s design language has been updated to incorporate better aesthetics, creating more memorable designs that position VISIONS highly in the nonprofit sector. The design showcase below features new pieces of VISIONS updated design language.

Established in 1893, Helen Keller Services, previously known as the Industrial Home for the Blind, has provided services to individuals who have any vision or hearing loss. 2018 is a big year, as the nonprofit agency celebrates 125 years of staying committed to its mission of providing the best services to its consumers.

The Marfan Foundation is the most well-known non-profit organization which provides outreach and support to people who have Marfan Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. February was Marfan Awareness Month, where the foundation works the hardest to reach out to people with and without Marfan Syndrome in hopes of having them support the foundation through donating time and money, as well as further spreading awareness. This project was a collaboration with a design team, where each member carried out a different role, from planning and strategy, to communicating with the marketing director, to design and execution.
